The Skincare Brand That Changed My Skin
My relationship with skin care has developed over the years.
I used to be (and still kind of am) the kind of person who hated putting products on their face, hands, etc. because I hated either feeling oily and/or the feeling of having stuff on my skin. Because of this, I have always refused to use hand lotion, moisturizer, everything – which is obviously not a good look when it's winter in New York City.
This changed when my friend, Emily, introduced me to the skincare brand, TULA. You may think this is sponsored, but I promise you it is not; I just want to share with everyone the brand that got my skin healthy and beautiful. I had never heard of TULA but quickly learned that they use probiotic technology to give your skin the nutrients and "food" it needs. Their products are specially formulated to promote optimal skin health for all skin types and all ages and are designed to be gentle to your skin, with every formula clinically tested to ensure it is non-irritating and non-sensitizing.
The first product I ever tried was their Illuminating Serum, and I was very hesitant. Needless to say, I was very blown away – my skin looked airbrushed and glowing and most importantly, healthy. The best part is that it didn't even feel like I had anything on my face, which is the huge reason I avoided using lotions in the first place.

Since using that Illuminating Serum, I have accumulated quite a bit of TULA products, all of which make me feel so confident about myself. With my skincare routine, I really focus on two things: dry and uneven skin and the area around my eyes. Because I went from not using any skincare products to now using products almost daily, I have seen the difference of what healthy skin looks like, so I really try to take care of dry and uneven skin through exfoliating, cleansing, and moisturizing. In regards to the areas around my eyes, I have dark circles and bags from my not-so-great sleep cycle, so a few TULA products specifically for the areas around your eyes have helped me be less insecure about that because they actually work. Of course, I don't use every product at once, so I switch it up between products, and some days, I don't use any. It is all situational.
In terms of pricing, it is more expensive than your typical drug store skincare product, but you are paying to have your skin be healthy, which is does in bounty. Another thing I love about TULA is a little goes a long way, and I feel like I barely have to use any product, which is great.
I could go on for days about how much I truly love TULA products, but I think you get it. If you have yet to find a skincare product that works for you, give TULA a try. You might end up like me and become obsessed with how it makes your skin look and feel, and in turn, how it makes you feel.
(SNEAK PEEK: I may or may not be giving some TULA away in a future giveaway, so make sure to sign up for my email newsletter so you're in the loop when that happens)
I am curious if any of you use or have used TULA and what your experience with it was. Tweet me and let me know if you have or if you recommend a different brand/product!
