February 2017 Favorites
February may have been a shorter month, but that does not stop me from falling in love with material objects.
Between clothing, apps, music, and more, I found a lot of really great things this month that I want to share. I will add links so you, too, can fall in love with these products.
1. adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 - Core Black/Red
I have been eyeing these shoes ever since Kanye debuted them by wearing them...with me in the background. I had a pair of the original Yeezys, which I thought were comfortable, but I then tried on these V2 ones and was blown away. They are truly like walking on a cloud and feel so well made and sturdy. They can be super hard to get and/or expensive, but I think they are very worth it, especially if you are someone like me who is always on the go but still wants to look semi put-together. I have worn them almost every day and have never regretted a second of it.
2. TOPMAN OFF WHITE RACING PRINT T-SHIRT
I have found Topman to be really hit or miss lately, so I haven't been in there too much. However, I stopped in to take a look, and I saw this shirt. I had a pajama shirt that looked exactly like this, but it had too many huge holes in it to be wearable. So, of course, I was stoked to find this similar shirt. I love the funky shades of colors, mix of fonts, and the off-white/subtle cream color of the shirt. I bought the shirt a size or two up from my normal size so that it is baggy, and I can style it tucked in or not. The material is also super soft and the shirt is just overall very comfortable.
3. CUISINART SMART STICK HAND BLENDER & CHOPPER
If you follow me on Snapchat (itschrisklemens), you know that I love making my favorite Tomato Basil Soup recipe, which involves using this. My mom got me this immersion blender for Christmas, but I have really started using it quite a bit. I thought I would hardly use it, if I'm being honest, but it makes blending, chopping, and mixing so easy. It is also super affordable and really easy to clean after using it. I did have a little trouble figuring out how to turn it on my first time (you push the lock button and then the desired speed), but other than that, I love this so much.

4. CHAMPION REVERSE WEAVE HOODIE SWEATSHIRT
I have talked about my love for Champion a few times on my blog. I know a lot of people love the brand because their favorite celebrity wears it or because it's trendy, but I really like the brand because I grew up wearing Champion and also love the way their sweatshirts are built with a thin panel of fabric on the side, which prevents you from looking like a circle. As someone who picks comfort first, I definitely recommend, and they have really pushed me into wearing colors again because I love the shades of colors they pick. They might seem a bit pricy but I think for the quality you get, it's a home run.
5. VHS Camcorder iPhone App
This app is a super random inclusion, but I am obsessed with using it. I grew up with what felt like having home videos of every second of my life, and I remember how much fun it was to sit with my family and watch these. I heard about this app about a year ago but wasn't really interested. Recently, though, I have been obsessed with capturing moments of my life with this app. I know you are probably rolling your eyes at this and I honestly am too, but I think there is something so special and nostalgic to me having really special memories with a VHS aesthetic. That just may be my inner cheeseball.
6. UO MEN'S CARE EAU DE COLOGNE - Vetiver
I was in Urban Outfitters earlier in February and smelled one of their candles. I really liked the scent and saw next to the candle was the scent as a cologne. I have never gotten a cologne from Urban Outfitters, but I decided to give this one a chance and was pleasantly surprised! The scent, Vetiver, has citrus and wood notes with a little floral undertone, and this combo is one of my ideal scents. It lasts pretty much through the entire day and smells quite expensive, actually, which is great because it's super affordable. I also really love the minimalism and feel of the packaging.
